Silkwood Wellness in School and Home Program (SWISH)

At Silkwood, our Team's health and well-being are important to us. To ensure our Team is supported on their journey at Silkwood, we have partnered with Angela Derks, the Founder and CEO of the Australasian Sustainable Wellness Academy (ASWA). She and her Team assist Silkwood in developing and implementing our Silkwood Wellness In School and Home Wellbeing Program (SWISH).

We work together to continue to grow our culture around empowering our Team to lead healthy lifestyles through our wellness program and by using our guiding principles in our workplace to provide a safe, positive and healthy environment where we can all thrive.

SWISH Program initiatives include:

  • Free access to the Wellness Within program in partnership with ASWA;
  • Movement sessions, i.e. boxing, yoga, meditation;
  • Breathwork and Mindfulness training;
  • Art and craft courses;
  • Refresh and rejuvenate afternoons;
  • Fresh fruit, snacks and loose-leaf tea are provided regularly in staffrooms;
  • Wellness competitions;
  • Dedicated wellness stations in staffrooms provide resources to support Team health and well-being;
  • STAR reward and recognition program.
